1984, TIBS (Trans - Island Bus Service was formed.

1996, a major milestone for TIBS as they acquired the first articulated bus. This prototype bus shooked the local media as it was believed the first bus to have being air flown from Germany to Singapore.

May 2015, Tower Transit Singapore was awarded operating rights for the Bulim Package. Buses had taken over by LTA and it will be leased by Bus Packages.

A leyland atlantean on service 106 (from Bukit Batok to Serangoon)
1970s, on the most turbulent years in this industry 5 companies merged into 1 new company which is Singapore Bus Service (SBS) .

1993, air conditioned double decker buses was introduced. This Leyland Olympian (Superbus) which can carry up to 130 passengers which received many positive feedbacks.

3rd quarter of 2016, Go Ahead Singapore was awarded by LTA to run Loyang package. But Go Ahead started off with a bumpy journey with a sudden loss of staff when it just launched in singapore due to their interlining schedule which was not really welcome for singapore bus captains here.
